Join Jennifer to learn the basics of making and sustaining a kitchen full of live foods! A key component of digestive health and a joyful experience with food preparation can be cultivated through the creation of your own kitchen medicine cabinet beginning with THE TRILOGY: Kombucha, Kefir and Fermented Vegetables! These foods are not only delicious but they have been shown to profoundly aid issues of digestive unease, healthy weight loss and maintenance, safe detoxification and allergies. In this workshop we will review the benefits of these super-foods, make our own fermented vegetables, and review easy and delicious recipes for kombucha and kefir. In this workshop you will learn ancient principles and practices from a yoga “sister science,” Ayurveda, to create and maintain a health physical body- the vessel through which we experience this beautiful life we lead! Included in this 2.5 hour workshop will be Self Care practices and information on a modern yogic diet to create a canvas for lightness and steadiness in the system.
