Pranayama is a sanskrit word translated as the extension of life force, often referred to as the extension of breath. It is practiced to inspire positive feelings and peacefulness while simultaneously cleansing and invigorating the nervous, respiratory and cardiovascular systems of the body.
In this workshop Jennifer will guide you through the fundamental components of a sound Pranayama practice first with by exploring the theory and then experiencing the techniques. We will end with a cooling summer pranayama practice and guided relaxation to create lightness and ease on a warm summer day!
