Hatha yoga utilizes physical practices to purify the body and move the individual towards self realization. This weekend we will dive into a series of practices and techniques that when implemented regularly will create clarity, vibrancy and awaken the potential lying within you for a happy, healthy and beautiful life!
This series is appropriate for practitioners and teachers alike and will offer a toolbox of techniques and practices that when implemented regularly will bring forth the clear and vibrant power of a balanced subtle body.
$65 for both sessions together or $35 each.
Workshop 1: Solar Sustenance
with Jennifer Campbell-Overbeeke, E-RYT
Surya Namaskar to cleanse and heal.

Classical Surya Namaskara is a complete practice of asanas that can be done daily to create fluidity and mobility in the spine and joints, tonify the digestive tract and balance the nervous system. Within this series of 12 postures is a beautiful tapestry of pranayama, visualization, mantra and grace that, when done regularly, creates both receptivity in the body and the mind. Learn this ancient practice and how it can bring joy in to your life!
Included in this 2 hour workshop will be information and practice of bija mantra, drishti, and pranayama within classical surya namaskar. Discussion will also include the basic information for teachers and practitioners on using surya namaskar as a diagnostic tool.
Workshop 2: Sacred Seat
with Jennifer Campbell-Overbeeke, E-RYT
Seated practices to reveal innate wisdom and steadiness.

Learn ancient breathing techniques and mantra to awaken a well of love and peace within. When done with dedication these practices create the perfect canvas for meditation.
Included in this 2 hour workshop will be intro to true diaphragmatic breath through the use of viloma. Beginning pranayama practices to cleanse the nadis and bring awareness to solar and lunar channels within the body will also be practiced and discussed. Following Pranayama will be an intro to japa mantra as a complete practice of sound, breath, and attention. We will end with deep rest and rejuvenation in yoga nidra as a means to assimilate the energy of the weekend! Students will leave with a complete home practice that they can implement immediately.
